Some Ways to Stay Away from Overweight

Women or men living with overweight always think how to reduce weight over and over. Otherwise, men or women who are born thin likely want to gain weight or even more weights.

It is now people’s mind in effort to have physically interesting and attractive. One way is taken to reduce weights by surgery treatment which sounds somewhat dangerous. Although it belongs to quick removal fat method but somehow it will stay leaving some bad result such as layers in body or operation scars. Obesity is not now surprisingly affecting people in any ages; children, adult, the olds, and teens. Everyone can suffer from obesity.


One says “preventing is better than curing”. This saying is right; fighting overweight can be started from early period at childhood. Moms are often proud of her son or daughter who has physically healthy appearance seen from the weight. In fact, these children are suffering from obesity. It is fact that obesity among children or older ages can cause many serious diseases and problems for the sufferer such as;

1. Heart disease/problems

2. Diabetes

3. Stroke

4. Heavy breath or the shortness of breath

5. Intestinal problems.

6. Fatigue or weakness, etc.

Based on the effects of suffering from obesity, people are supposed to be more aware of the danger. Therefore, some ways to prevent obesity can be applied regularly. The ways are:

1.  Exercise regularly

doing exercise regularly in exact time is very important. Ideally, one has to do exercise two times a week. There are various sets of exercise which can really absorb your whole energy with many movements such as jogging, lifting, aerobic gym, or even the most trending activity; belly dance. All of those activities will strengthen muscles and reduce fats in flesh.

2.  Healthy Diet

Some diet programs sound ordinary among women. It might work if done with correct steps. Some diet workaholic do crazy diet by avoiding rice for example. This sounds exaggerating because rice is the source of energy and it must be consumed by people. Healthy diet must include fruits, vegetables, and rice as the source of energy but with enough amounts or low portion.

3. Monitor what you eat

Some particular foods can arouse obesity such as snacks. Chocolate, potato chips, peanuts, sweets etc have high calorie and fat. Better you eat fibrous foods like fruits and vegetables which can benefit intestinal circulation. Eating snacks can be done but lower down the portion and the frequency.

4. Change Bad Habits

Changing habit is the hardest way in order to prevent overweight is successful. Avoiding activity which does not involve physical activity at home is very good. You can start to stay away from being “couch potato” and start doing other things like cleaning house, gardening, washing, or go cycling.

All of those ways above are really working with the person’s consistency. That is why each program must be set with consistency each day.
